Privacy

Short version: we keep what's needed to set up your coffee, email you about it, and then delete it.

What we store

  • When you create an invite: your name, email, the times you suggested, your time zone, the topic, your note, and the place or video link.
  • When you book or suggest a time: your name, email and time zone.
  • To stop abuse: a scrambled (keyed hash) version of your IP address and email for rate limits. We can't turn these back into the original.
  • Invite links are stored only as fingerprints (hashes), so even we can't rebuild them from the database.

What we send

Only emails about a coffee you planned or booked: a one-time email check, the booking confirmation with a calendar file, reminders the day before and 2 hours before, and cancellations or suggested new times. No newsletters, no marketing, and we never sell or share your details.

Who helps us

  • Brevo sends our emails.
  • DreamHost hosts the site and database (in the US).
  • Cloudflare protects the site and, if turned on, runs the "I'm human" check.

Cookies

Two small cookies, no trackers or ads: one keeps forms secure during your visit, and one remembers that you've confirmed your email on this browser so you don't have to confirm again.

The contact card and coffee tips pages

Your contact card stays in your browser only (local storage). It's never sent to us. Use the Clear button to remove it.

How long we keep things

  • Invites and bookings: deleted automatically 30 days after the coffee (or the last suggested time).
  • Invites that were never confirmed: deleted after 3 days.
  • Rate-limit records: 2 days. Email logs: 30 days. Abuse reports: 180 days.

You can delete an invite right away from your private manage link (in your email).
